Character

"Add to your faith, character..." (2 Peter 1:5-8)  Developing character is a significant aspect of discipleship, of growing up in Christ.  I think of the words of Paul to Timothy as he exhorts the young leader to model the Christian life to those he leads, setting an "example" in his words, his actions, his faith, his love, his purity and his attitudes.  Who I am runs far deeper than what I believe.
