In His Presence

"One thing I ask--there is one thing that I long for--that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life..." --Psalm 27:4a

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." --John 15:5

"When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus." --Acts 4:13

"His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness." --1 Peter 2:3

There is something about being in God's presence--sitting at Jesus' feet--that gives us everything we need for life and godliness. 

In God's presence we have full provision.  As a reslut of bieng in God's presence, others notice strength despite our weakness. 

And they see Jesus in us.

What's Really Needed?

"The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men with no special training in the Scriptures. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus." --Acts 4:13

The Only Thing That Counts
